Foxwoods 2-5
My first hand of the session at woods the other day. Bought in for 500.
BB QQ. Utg big stack (~1800) limps. MP around 350 raises to 25. One caller. I reraise to 125. UTG limper, repops it to 340 MP calls all in. 1 folder. My action.....Is there anyway im good? And its my FIRST hand, I have absolutetly no reads, and haven't played with anyone before. I folded. UTG had AQ and MP had JJ. I feel like a dope, but I think it was the right decision. Thoughts? |

Re: Foxwoods 2-5
l/r live is like AA or AK 90% of time. I would fold here and not think much about it. Sucks that they had you beat.
WHAT UP NOAH?!? |

Re: Foxwoods 2-5
given stack sizes seems like this might be a call...if you put UTG on AK, KK+..although KK+ more likely than AK...and midposition has 99-JJ, AK. I dont have pokerstove here to do calculation but given given it will be 375 to win 1350..you are getting close to 3:1. anyeone with pokerstove that could do this calc for this range.

Re: Foxwoods 2-5
People at Foxwoods play so bad, especially 2-5 and a lot of the 5-10 regulars that-
This is kind of mediocre either way since you get shown AK AQ JJ-AA most of the time, but its hard to weight that range against an unknown 2-5 player at Foxwoods. I think you played it fine, though I might repop to more like 105 than 125. |

Re: Foxwoods 2-5
I really don't understand how UTG limp 4-bet with worse than QQ. Thats why I chucked. But I kept that in mind the rest of the session, and the guy donked off a couple hundred. Thanks.
