Re: omahahaha
Just learning omaha, and don't want to side track the thread, but what do you guys think the merits are to the pre flop call?

Re: omahahaha
Isn't his range like really wide here still? We're basically HU and he's super aggro.
I'd call and wouldn't mind getting it in on low non-hearts. On others I'd eval. Oh and preflop is fine, we have position. |

Re: omahahaha
position is pretty big in omaha, preflop is standard. Id call flop, turn is turn dependant.

[/ QUOTE ] getting it in would probably be really bad. i'd just call, if you raise it's basically a bluff that won't work, but he probably folds almost everything worse. this is a tough spot though because if the turn is a blank and he fires again which he would a lot it will be a tough decision. Also if the board pairs he could easily have an overfull but you'll prob have to at least call another barrel. i would fold a lot of turns i think. |

Re: omahahaha
I agree that getting it in would be bad on the flop (as you're flipping like always and behind sometimes), but I think it would be OK on a blank turn imo unless he rarely two barrels.
I mean yes it's Omaha (and I'm bad at it) but that doesn't mean that everybody always has the nuts if it's a BvB vs. aggressive opponent. |

[/ QUOTE ]No, he never folds oversets but I don't see why they would be a large part of his range. "folded around to very very aggressive SB"... he's opening and cbetting 2 streets with a bunch here that isn't KKxx, QQxx, AJxx, J9xx. Actually turn is tricky as pot is only $180 on the turn and I no longer like getting it all in there that much. Whether we raise or not depends on turn card and his bet. But I still don't see why the majority opinion seems to be that we have a bluff catcher on a blank turn here. |

Re: omahahaha
I call now, if he is as aggro as you say I am probably calling most turns as well. And yes you can have a hand that you will call down with here.
