I need a coach/mentor. Any one interested please PM me. I can pay for coaching.

imo, you aren't going to be able to afford decent coaching unless you are spending more than your roll.

***Not a coaching advert***

That's not completely true. I agree if you go with the top level coaches and you play NL50 you're gonna pay alot in relationship to your bankroll. But, there should be a middle ground that you can afford to get you to SSNL so that you can build up a roll there and then afford that type of coaching. I charged a buy-in per coaching session for NL50 players back when I coached a bit and I think that's a fair price for them, with the purpose of getting them up to SSNL.

[/ QUOTE ]

you are definately correct. I think solid coaches are going to be hard to find. They need to truely care about the coaching. your price is very good imo, but most people are not going to be as generous as you are.. Most of the affordable coaching isn't going to be of incredibly high value.

I was crushing 10nl for like or 7 ptbb/100 before I moved up. I think I am trying to play too aggressive. I dont think that floating at 10nl is +ev. I know that I am too aggro with my draws because there isnt alot of FE against most of these guys. I usually play 23/19 or so but I have tightened up to playing 22+ and AQ+ I think the majority of it yesterday was just coolers an some marginal situations that I probably could have gotten away from, but just didnt. AJ COACH ME, I will give you 2 buy ins per hour lol. I saw your graph so no saying our not good enough.

wooppdiefkingdooo , 4 months ago i played 50NL. Motivation for you all :P 50NL winners to move the hell up . since those 1/2 and 2/4 graphs were always a huge motivation for me to move up :P, the CTS graphs are my motivation now lol . This is sickest heater ever for me so far, like 23 buyins.

It has a lot to do with your mindset imo.

Dunno what you play, but NL10 is easy to beat.
You can be a winningplayer only by table selection and playing JJ+, AJs+. They dont recognize how tight you are, etc.

[/ QUOTE ]

fallacious. I won at nl 10 when i learned how to value bet. then my graph skyrocketed.

Is there anything more frustrating than starting a session and IMMEDIATELY dropping 2 BI?

UGH.

quick note on finding leaks, because i just spent an hour or so reviewing PT for novemeber:

go to PT, filter for exactly 3 off the button, which is utg, and look at the hands you're in the red with. then do it for 2 off the button (click on VPIP filter), and so on.

what you will likely see, at least i did, is that there is a lot more red, and your bb per hand is lower, than when exactly on the button.

this is likely because of position (we get sucked out/coolered in every position) because we have to check-fold turn or multi-barrel.

anyways, obvious and simple, but really hit home for me when i reviewed it even though i know to be tighter out of position, yet gradually i had loosened up alot out of position in november. does the metagame/increase in VPIP/PFR make up for it? at 50nl, i dunno, but i doubt it.
