6.50 - Fold AK pf to UTG raise from regular?

Raiser is a solid regular. I don't see him raising less than JJ, AK, maybe AQs. Can I just fold this?

I'm 100% sure tho that he is not raising TT or less and definitely not AJ...the only thing I could possibly be ahead of is AQ and I'm not sure he raises that.

Hmm, possibly TT, but I don't think he raises 88 or 99. I've played plenty with him this month and he is probably the most competent person I've played with. I've never seen him do anything out of line.

Stars name is Little Horn for anyone that plays the 6.50s and knows him. I don't know if he's 2p2

He could be raising/calling wider than 88,AJ but not by much and shoving is never great against a nitbot's UTG open. Folding is best cos you'll get better spots where you know you're good.

I think if you have an accurate estimate of his range, you answered you own question and you shouldn't shove. I don't see why calling is a bad play however.

You shouldn't call raises with AK at this stage, it's either shove or fold I suppose you can't make lots of moniez postflop esp oop. Additionally, you want to see all five cards and not donate your chips in 2/3 of the cases.

calling forces you to hit something on the flop in order to win as a winning reg is probably cbetting close to 100% of the time we are not going to be getting free cards.
