why would you raise at any point postflop? it sturning your hand into a bluff

[/ QUOTE ]

A raise on the flop would not only show strength but give an indication of your opponents range. For these reasons is this play considered a bluff? For me in that position post flop I would fold it.

I was just suggesting that if OP wanted to take it down then IMO calling was not correct and a raise would have greater value.

Any thoughts ???

tell me what you think is calling a raise.

Sorry, I am not following your question.

he bets, you raise, what is his calling range? youll find youre folding out everything you beat (except a diamond draw and thats near a coinflip on the flop) and close to nothing that you lose to.

Raising accomplishes nothing. Folding isnt bad but calling isnt either. His small-ish bets would keep me in, if he bet bigger on the turn or river I would get away from it.

You would need one hell of an image to make that profitable.
