Default Best shoes for walking?

Unfortunately 99% of the 18 hole courses in my area do not allow walking, but I am a member at a ~2900 yard par 31 that I walk 3-4 times per week before work. My Footjoy eComforts are pretty old though (I'd say about 3 years) and they haven't been very "e-comfortable" lately.

They've been good though and I wouldn't mind picking up another pair, but does anyone have a better recommendation I should try out? I'm not looking for anything TOO outrageous like the GF II's. I'd like to keep it around or under $125 if I can.

Oh yeah - I never finish a round without somewhat wet shoes (2nd off the tee, morning dew, always hitting out of the long stuff), so a decent level of waterproofing is important. So... what would be some good options to consider and how long should I expect them to last?

Thanks

Sorry I don't have a specific model to recommend, but I've found that Etonic golf shoes are better at waterproofing and more comfortable for me personally. I used to swear by FootJoys until I picked up a pair of on sale Etonics.

I have Adidas Powerbands and really like them. It took one round to break them in, but since then they have been very comfortable.

Dryjoys or DryJoys Pro although MSRP is 150-165 you shouldn't have much trouble finding them for 125 or less. Light, durable, waterproof, and atleast fairly comfortable (alot more so than Classics).

eC's are great, if you want to spend a little $, try the DryJoys(like the GF2's) they are great, I also have a pair of Classic Tours that I walk in all the time, one of my courses is cart only too. If you are going to jump brands, be careful, first let me say that I am a huge Adidas junkie, but Adidas and Nike shoes fit differently that your Fj's, make sure that you try them on before and after a round to make sure they are comfortable. One of the worst things is to get a pair of shoes that feels good, play 18 holes with them and they suck.

Also, Adidas, Nike and FJ all have 30 day comfort warranty's too. If you really want to go thru the trouble, you can return them for a credit if they really suck.

I've heard a lot of good things about DryJoys... going to try on a pair of those and see if I like them. Powerbands are a couple of dollars more than I was looking to spend but I bet I can find them online cheaper if I like them.

Thanks for your suggestions everyone.

Just over your $125 but these are extremely comfortable. Also these have lasted me a surprisingly long time, considering I play almost everyday, and wear these every second day. I would say I have had them 18 months and they're not worn out, just becoming more worn in.
