Yeah- i've always liked the feel of srixon balls. Also, the Noodles and Titliest SoLo balls are great cheapos.

The DT SoLo is pretty hard. I'd recommend the Top Flite Tour for a cheap ball. (if they still make it)

I see a few recommendations for decent cheap balls, but what do the rest of you like? I'm not man enough to hit ProV1s yet.

Damn, Titleist sure did a great job marketing the SoLo because it's not a very good ball compared to what you can get for the same price.

According to my Titleist rep, the Solo is slightly lighter than most balls.
It is somewhat easier to get into the air and carry for those with low clubhead spead.

Seniors, ladies, kids,....?
