I would consider a c/r with this holding & board if there was no preflop raise and you had good reason to believe a bet would come from late position. However, the only way you might be able to knock people out would be donking the flop and hoping UTG raises. Yeah, that would probably knock out the other two unless they had a flush draw or felt frisky. Now you're facing one back and have built a big pot; not exactly idea for your holding. If UTG's raise folds the others out, you thinned the field but now you've got to deal with UTG representing a K....

I just c/c the flop and see what the turn brings.

Your raise is not going to knock anyone out (maybe if UTG 3bets, in which case you're sorry you raised since he has you smoked). It cannot be for equity either, since a pair of 4's on a two-club board with 3 opponents is not a favorite.

Everything else looks standard.

setting aside the raise on the flop, i have a hard time justifying even calling the flop...

we are out of position and we have 2nd pair, a low one that figures to have overcards hit on the turn and river...our kicker is weak too, and there is 2 cards to a flush on the board, so anyone with overcards and a club will stay in to see the turn...

i think you were very lucky to complete your straight, but a 3rd club came on the river--so you still did not have the nuts and may have lost this hand anyway...

i would think in this hand i had maybe only 3 or 4 outs (4 & 5 of clubs tainted) at the flop, i would have folded...

congrads if you won this one, your boldness was rewarded...

With a c-bet and two people calling, check/raising middle pair with no kicker looks ugly.

On this particular board in this spot the flop raise is bad. In generel tho I really hate general statements like the quoted one and IMO its not a particular constructive input.

The rest of the hand is fine
