In it he says something to the effect that if, on January 1st, that chances are you will have 300 BAD things happen to you that year, and then come the next January 1st comes only 250 happened, how would that make you feel? What about if 350 bad things happened?

The point I took from it is we know that [censored] is gonna happen. Every day. You'll stub your toe, drop a dish, spill a drink, piss off your wife, something will go wrong. Does knowing make it less frustrating? I think so. It's expected. You're already over the shock that it dare happen in the first place because you expect it so you can focus on what needs to be done to move on.

Why does it hurt when we lost our all-in TT vs. J7s when it comes runner-runner flush? Because we know the odds, we're better players (LDO) and we're *entitled* to that win, dammit! I was 81% on that flop, [censored]!

I need this more in life than in my poker game, I think.
