I hate these hands. I end up getting stacked by AA way too often in this situation. As played by UTG, smells like AA, but with 4 players, Im not sure what the probability of you running into aces is, but if you dont mind the variance I guess you could ride it.

If I have a read or sense that villain will overplay an overpair, I am more apt to check call the turn and river to get value from hands like TT. If he has AA or 88 then hero is destined to lose some of his stack.

I bet less on the flop and probably check/call the turn.

If I check the turn, it's to c/r ai. Surprised you guys are c/cing. It's only 200bb and it's a rr pot and we have KK!

I don't think anyone is bet/calling the turn w/ QQ/JJ in villain's spot.

I do.

And if they just check the turn, we can bet the river and get looked up by a lot of hands that fold to a turn bet.

I really think bet flop, check/call turn is the best value for our hand.

As played, I think we have to fold... that is another argument for checking the turn.
