If he bets 2/3 pot on the turn, that only leaves a 2/3 psb left on the river. If this is the type of villain that value bets QQ/JJ on a blank river, I don't think he b/f's the turn. So, if you think he's the type to b/f the turn with these hands, I think I'd rather c/f the river if turn goes, check, bet 2/3, we call.

but you think they value bet both turn and river if checked to?

No, therefore I generally fold to a river shove.

How did everyone get so deep? Is it a deep table? If so, I guess it might be a little closer but if not, this is an easy fold.

Also, I'm pretty certain that b/f is the best line on this turn. Lots of people can't fold overpairs, period and there are lots between 8 and K. You're losing tons of value by not betting this turn.

Since very few players are raising this turn for value with any of these overpairs and I doubt if any single player at 1/2 is turning a smaller overpair into a bluff on the turn to fold out QQ-AA so you're toast here at least 90% of the time.

I play it similarly and fold turn. respect a turn bet, worship a turn raise.
