Default situations from today

i posted before how my game has gotten pretty bad, so i expect mistakes in hands that i post. please don't be overly smart alecky in responses though.

i will post each hand in its own seperete post as IMO posts with multiple hands are annoying. i also dont want to make new threads for each hand and clog the forum.

thanks in advance

Default HAND ONE (ACE HIGH IN BLIND STEAL)

villain doesn't stand out in any extreme. too loose and a tad overly aggressive would be the best way to describe him. he probably views me as an aggressive player and has played enough with me to realize i am not a fish or anything. this situation comes up frequently and i feel i am overly robotic in my call downs.

30/60 4 handed

villian opens on the button, folded to me in BB and i make i 3bets with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], he caps.

HU for 4.25 BB's

457 rainbow

i check, he bets, i call

5 putting two clubs on board.

i check, he bets, i call.......?

pot now has 5.25 BB's

river is 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

i check, he bets, I ?

comments on all streets are welcome...

Default Re: HAND TWO (OVERPLAYED PP?)

20/40 3 handed

BB is a whackjob preflop. pretty much raising any two every hand and 3betting lightly. not as bad postflop, but still on the LAG side. SB is only slightly better. not totally out of control, but still a LAG. guy is a wierdo who will raise 90& of the hands he decides to play SH and then all of a sudden limp 3 handed with 65o. he despises me also, FWIW.

i am OTB and raise 77, SB makes it three and that whackjob caps.

3 for 6 BB's

J 2 J rainbow

SB leads, BB raises, I make it three, BB caps, SB calls, I call.

pot is 12BB's

what is your mindset at this point? does a A/K falling and facing one bet make you fold? do you decide you are up against at least one pair > 77 and fold for one bet on the turn?

Lead the flop, why are you c/c here? I would lead the flop and probably call down if raised.

hey - try posting both of these hands in separate threads. The replies are likely to get confusing.

hmm, i dont see what leading really accomplishes. i would like to believe i have enough equity to call down (since i did ) but i am not so sure i can be asking for multiple bets to be going in on the flop.
