Re: 200NL Good/Bad/BARF?
Villain has to call here $159 for a $300 pot. He looses $70 if he folds. Villain could have a set or a draw. A villain this aggressive does not have a king very often and will usually shove AKo. . Villains calling range preflop is probably: 76s+, 22+, AQo+. A king on the turn does not help him here very often. However, if villain has a king, this is a snap call for him.
What hands would villain call the flop with? Everything suited diamonds , KQ perhaps, sets. He would probably shove combo draws like T8s. But might call with T8r or 68r. It depends on your image whether to call with a marginal hand or not. I think a push here is very thin. |

Re: 200NL Good/Bad/BARF?
3-bet history with villain is needed to assign a range.
If you have been 3-betting him light then obv his range for seeing the flop is wider and thus less polarised around AK,KQ type hands. Then it boils down to whether or not he has a flush draw enough of the time. If you have been hardly 3-betting him then his 3-bet calling range is much tighter and will mainly include hands that have you crushed and are not folding. However what calls that flop that isnt Kx,99,77 or FD/combo draw? I think its marginal either side of the EV=0 |

Re: 200NL Good/Bad/BARF?
You don't think that the villain is floating with QQ-TT here? Considering the turn i think that I have good fold equity against these hands given the turn, and I think that even the FD's will consider a fold since the board paired.

I don't like pf, but once you get to the turn the way you did I think shoving is the best line.

[/ QUOTE ] i would think you'd actually get looked up more by QQ with the second king coming on the turn than otherwise, but maybe i'm wrong about that. |

I actually think I prefer betting about 85$ here, looks a bit stronger imo. |

Re: 200NL Good/Bad/BARF?
I like preflop.
Turn is close but I think you need to c/f. Your equity is quite bad vs a mix of Kx/QQ and some discounted sets. You holding JT makes JJ/TT less likely. |
