5/10 hu line check
no big pots between us yet. hes won a few smallish-medium sized pots by c/r'ing me on the flop or turn. hes also called my 3bets almost every time and twice he raised my flop cbets and i folded
"line check" really just refers to thoughts on the river Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $5/$10 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) Hero (BB): $999.50 SB: $1,353.50 Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) SB raises to $30.00, Hero calls $20.00 Flop: ($60) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, SB checks Turn: ($60) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $40.00, SB raises to $180.00, Hero calls $140.00 River: ($420) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, SB bets all-in for $1,143.50, Hero calls all-in for $789.50 Uncalled bet of $354.00 returned to SB Pot Size: $1,999.00 ($0.50 Rake) |

Re: 5/10 hu line check
I usually just check/call the turn, but otherwise this is fine.

this is hard. [/ QUOTE ] agree. v tough spot. There are many, many decent opponents who'd never do this on the river without a full house. If I was in this hand I'd probably call and make a note, but I think most good opponents at this level are going to show you a full house here with small possibility of a lower flush. Against a bad opponent I call all day, but unless he's crazy over aggro/spewy your description of him doesn't sound like he's bad. If he's a good player and good enough to have a fairly wide range of overbet shoving here, leave the table |

turn is a fold probably always always always call river [/ QUOTE ] How can turn be a fold but river an easy call? How can it be an easy call ever? |

[ QUOTE ] turn is a fold probably always always always call river [/ QUOTE ] How can turn be a fold but river an easy call? How can it be an easy call ever? [/ QUOTE ] because on turn we have a pair of aces and river we have the nut flush? and villain could be shoving a bare 7 since hero almost never has a flush. Or what am I missing? |

Re: 5/10 hu line check
I dont see how you get away from the river hu.. you aren't at all deep and you don't have any spectacular read on him.. .you have the nut flush .. call yo

Re: 5/10 hu line check
He could have a weaker flush, totally consistent with his bets or trips. Considering it's runner runner, you have to call river I think. Your nut flush is well concealed.
