$10 free from UB for trying to deposit with a US credit card
I tried to make a deposit with a US credit card about a week ago and it was rejected (though they told me it had been "pre-approved" but never actually put any money in my account). I didn't e-mail support about it and just ignored the fact (though I checked to make sure nothing appeared on my credit card statement. Nothing did) and then today got an e-mail that a "no-strings attached" $10 had been credited to my account. I checked and it was in my account. I assume people could knowingly try to make a deposit with a card that won't work just to get the free $10.

Nope, I get a free $10 from UB every once in a while since I don't play there anymore, it has nothing to do with failed deposits.

Re: $10 free from UB for trying to deposit with a US credit card
In the e-mail they said it was because I tried to make a deposit and failed and that I should call or e-mail them to figure out a solution that would work. Maybe they were just going to give me $10 for free anyway but that's what they said in the e-mail.

Re: $10 free from UB for trying to deposit with a US credit card
When I first opened my AP account I had deposit troubles and they give me $10 free, and they gave me another 10 after I withdrew all my money from them after the cheating scandal. UB is owned by the same people, so it looks like they are doing the same thing.

Re: $10 free from UB for trying to deposit with a US credit card
Haven't played at UB or Absolute for long while, AP deposits $10 into my account every 8 weeks or so. I did try a US card about a month ago at UB, got hte same e-mail and 10 bucks as synth.
