Notre Dame bias. Notre Dame is nowhere near as good as Cal or Texas are.

Notre Dame is higher in the computers than they are in the polls. Nice try, though

[/ QUOTE ]

We need new computers then. They lost by almost 4 TD's at home. They needed a miracle to beat a crappy MSU team. How they are ranked by anybody, computer or human, above Cal or Tennessee is ridiculous.

I'd put WV at 4. 5+ is kind of a toss up. Well, except for ND being in there. No way are they #8 in that group.

I'm very happy to see Florida so high in this. It seems to me very possible they still contend for the national title. OSU over Michigan, Cal over USC, and WVU/Louisville both losing somethow....

Quite possible I'd say. UF runnign the table should actually rank them higher than an undefeated WVU or Louisville in my mind. Strength of schedule difference is nuts.

I'm pretty sure that the BCS computers factor in potential viewers in a big bowl game into the rankings. Kinda the BCS's way of helping Norte Dame get into the big game.

You don't have any idea how bad Michigan murdered ND, do you? I watched..it was sweet.

And I watched Illinois outplay MSU from start to finish..the same MSU team that outplayed ND for 3 1/2 quarters.

And based on that, and other factors, I can come to the conclusion that ND is not better than Cal or Tennessee.
