Re: value of cards
No pair beats a straight. A straight is five cards in numerical order such as
You hold 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and the flop is 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] No pair can beat this hand |

Re: value of cards
OP: Are you talking about hole cards? Perhaps you're getting beat by someone who has a pocket pair, with the board cards turning it into a full house. Straights are frequently beaten by flushes and full houses.

Dumb questions are OK in this forum but please at least use 1 molecule of brain power before posting - like looking at the others cards before asking why you were beat. |
