Default 6.50 - 55 on BTN with 13.5bb

Should I be pushing here? I'm not sure how I should be playing these types of hands in LP in an unopened pot with more than 10bb. Hands like 22-77, Axo.

Also, is anyone interested in reviewing like 3-5 tournaments of mine? I'm up for an exchange with someone at my level if they want. Send me a PM or hit me up on AIM @ koteles222 if you're interested.

Even if blinds are calling fairly wide, this is still a +ev shove.

Why shove? Why not standard raise and call push?

I have the same exact problem, hands 44-88 on the button or cutoff w/ like 11+BB and CL in the blinds. I have no idea how to play these kinds of hands,I think its one of the biggest leaks in my game currently

raising to 375 and calling a shove is kinda teh suck b/c you're calling and getting in a race for sure. When you shove, villains will probably fold like a9 which might re-raise a 375 btn bet.

Also with your stack if you raise 375 and get flatted by BB, the pot will be like 800. You bet 500 get CRAI and probably have to muck leaving you with under 10 BB (also I think this destroys image by raising pre, cbetting flop and folding w/ close to 1/2 your stack in).

Shoving is +ev vs any reasonable calling ranges here, so it's good to take it when your hand plays very marginally post flop.

Because you are always flipping even if they decided to push with garbage. The last thing you want is for them to think they have FE in the hand. IMO if you make a standard raise you have to fold to a shove.
