Default flopping 2 pair v utg raise

I hate omaha and I think I suck at it. anyways, just tyring to get a line on some fairly standard situations. i apologize if its basic, but imput (and reasonsing) is *much* appreciated.

online game, utg (unknown) raises, folded to me in the BB and I call with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Flop comes A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

He bets and I?

Limit or Pot Limit. Please specify this in all posts. Stack sizes are also very significant. In any case, I think this is generally a call.

Seems read-dependent. Also, is this limit or pot-limit?

Anyway, against most players (non-maniacs) in pot limit I would fold here assuming a pot-sized bet. Your hand doesn't totally suck inasfar as you have both a credible high and some kind of low, but there are a number of ways you could be DOA here and figuring that out could get expensive.
In limit I'd be tempted to peel one here and see what the board looks like on the turn.

who?

actually, my play would depend on the player and the game...

But thinking more generically -- There are many hands that really don't like that flop. Since you know very little about your raiser, think about his potential hands. AAxx and A2xx are most likely from an unknown UTG.

Many AAxx hands don't like all the low cards. A2xx (no 4 or 5) will often fold to the CR if the turn is a high card. In fact, the only hand that you are way behind right here are AA24/AA25. If the turn is not a wheel card (and especially if the turn is a club) I would feel very comfortable that I am taking at least half of the pot.

edit: more likely to c-r turn if its not full ring. More likely to call down if full ring.

In a limit game HU definitely take one off (multiway you might fold if there is a lot of action). You might even c-raise to better define your opponents hand. What if he raised PF w/ something like KKQJ? This could be just a continuation bet. If you are beat for high you may get rescued by a low. In any case, I'm seeing this to the end most of the time HU, unless I am certain I am beat.

FOLD in this spot absent an unusual read. your high hand, while possibly best at the moment is very vulnerable with very weak redraw potential, while your opponent very possibly could be free rolling you with either a made low or a better draw(with a duece). you will very rarely scoop here and will pay to the river hoping and praying your A3 holds up so you can get your money back. wait for a better spot
