Blarg,

So do you never go to the B&Ms in LA then? If you were cart counting etc. I was under the impression that you would go to live casinos.

I like the pace of a B&M. I don't mind going there and donating $100 when I can afford it, so long as the table is lively enough. Sometimes I win, but mostly I go just infrequently enough that I don't get annoyed by little things, like the fact that nearly every limit hand is won by someone sticking around and hitting a 3-outer on the river. Given my history there's no doubt I'm a fish and that people should be happy to see me coming, but I play to have fun and interact with people.

I am debating if I should also stop 2+2. Whether I stop or not, I sure have read very interesting posts that I have enjoyed a lot.

[/ QUOTE ]

I absolutely forbid you from stopping. You are essential to my happiness on 2+2.

[ QUOTE ]

It also got me to read some books (when the book club was on) that I hadn't considered reading before.

[/ QUOTE ]

I was going to mention the book club myself but thought no one would remember it . Let's start it up again. Someone nominate a short book and Enrique and I will read it with you.

Irieguy,

I was at the 2005 Labor Day, shin-ding. I bought you a Heinken and you returned the favor at Spearmint...

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah I'm pretty sure I remember every 2+2er I meet. I didn't mention everybody, obv. If I recall, I first met you outside of the Mirage after a Mirage poker session. We were soon after drinking Heinekens in a limo on the way to Rhino.

If that's not exactly the first time we met, please don't ruin it for me by reminding me of the truth.

Not only do I appreciate the knowledge that I attained out of this forum, I find enjoyment watching bad players become become better.

The Lounge has been an interesting place for me because it is a place that I can express my views and hopefully gain other perspectives on them. It is not surprising that my views are odd, or incorrect, but why they are odd or incorrect. Thinking about the poster that was surprised that some people grew up in such and such a way and gained perspectives, I understand the sentiment. The Forums give a safe place to explore other people's oddities. I hope that you also know that this is a place where I can work on myself, and gain other perspectives. To think that three years ago, I could never dream of owning a computer. It shows progress, and how different I am in my perspectives from my own upbringing.

The most important thing I gained out of the forums is a better understanding of how to write and communicate. I suppose that the Lounge is better for those of us who like to write the novella, but over-all, I have learned to be more clear and concise. Although some of my posts are all over the place, most of them have a focus that I feel would otherwise take years to attain.

I don't think you want mine after that NSFW link I posted...

Don't ruin my good vibe. I was getting all sentimental there for a minute.

lol...come one! you lobbed a soft ball for me - I had to swing!

Besides, Katy...you're one of the people here I haven't met yet who I consider a good friend...and I'm glad to know ya!

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm glad to know ya too, textually speaking, and am wondering if you are going to keep daring Wookie to ban your ass and if that means you are tilting or just playin. Fight the man brother!

In any case, I've enjoyed your posts since the old OOT days. You are entertaining and your movie reviews are great.

I like 2+2 alot. It keeps me occupied at work, which is nice because I don't really do much for the vast majority of my days. Normally I'll get real big on a website for a few days or weeks, but 2+2 has held my attention for several months.

I've tried to read the strat forums, but I really just don't care that much. I know it's a great tool, but I just don't think poker is where I will find my success.

All in all I give it two thumbs up. You are growing on me loungers.

lol...I'm not daring him, I'm just wondering what's the problem with posting the name of a non-pornographic web site with no nudity...I didn't even link to it!

I understand why my original link got removed - that had graphic porno ads in the margins that I didn't consider...

Dom,

I think it's pretty hard to really define whether that link was over the line or not. I'm not sure if it was but as you know with stuff like the profanity filter TPTB here are pretty conservative seem to err on the side of caution.

As for the content, I'm not sure if it was spank bank material, to be honest. It was different. Would it be considered "art"? If so, should her mom be proud?

i don't know, the main web site looks like it's an art project...it has lots of videos - guys and gals - doing the same thing. For the most part, everyone's O face looks silly. Except that one girl I linked to. And mine, of course.
