50NL - suddenly 3handed
The game suddenly brokes up, but I auto-posted my SB so I play, allthough I don't feel confortable playing 3handed.
Villain is ~20/10/3 over a decent sample, pretty agressive thus far but nog out of line. Is this spewy? 4-bet pre? Donk flop? C/F flop? Help me out! Effective stacks $51, 3handed. Pre-flop: Hero is in SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. BTN Folds, Hero raises to $1.75, BB raises to $4.50, Hero calls. Flop: {$9} 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero checks, BB bets $6, Hero calls. Turn: {$20} 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero checks, BB checks. River: {$20) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Hero checks, BB bets $14, Hero calls. |

Looks like a pocket pair to me. Anyway your calling a potsized bet on the river with ace high, against an opponent who hasnt fallen out of line, fold it.

[ QUOTE ]
I fold preflop, flop and river [/ QUOTE ] I agree, we're really not beating anything against a villain that doesn't get out of line |

Re: 50NL - suddenly 3handed
I would probably fold pre-flop. That hand is just really tough to play OOP.
One thing I'm always wondering is how quickly your average opponent will adjust to a game going short. Do they loosen up? Do they assume you have? I'm curious to see what people's experience with tables going short is. |

Tnx for the comments. I actually won this hand, but after thinking through this one I didn't like my play that much
