Default Can you label all 50 states on a blank map?

So this topic came up in my group at work, and everyone besides me said no they cant. They also dont think this is important to know and seem proud to not know. These are all college grads from good schools. Isnt this something every educated American should be able to do without much trouble?

I can do this and I'm a [censored] engineer. I think it's sad that 98% of American's can't do it.

I can do it but that Delaware-Maryland area can get a little tricky.

I'm in the UK and I can name 45 of them, but I have no clue where they are. Totally agree with Jake it should be a requirement to vote, people who can't are not fit to decide something so important as who's in charge of the most powerful nation on earth.
