Default How lazy are you?

1-20 (20 being a [censored] vegetable, 0 being you never sleep, and it's 50/50 whether you will work yourself to death before your kids graduate high school), how lazy are you? Include some amusing descriptive anecdotes to support your rating.

I once ran two pieces of fishing line over my ceiling down to a light switch so I could turn the light on and off from my bed without getting up - pull the long one to turn on and the short one to turn off -

took a bit of creative engineering - but the small effort kept me from getting out of bed for about a yr if I didn't have to - THAT's lazy.

The light went out in my room (the only light source besides alarm clock and stereo, which both were dim) and I was too lazy to change it for about 16 months so I just did everything in the dark (or during the day if I was awake)

My high school had escalators that connected every other floor (2-3, 3-5, 5-7, 7-9, and 2-4, 4-6, 6-8). There were 9 floors in my HS. If I was on the 4th floor and had to get to the 5th floor, I would take the escalator to 6 and walk down a flight to 5. If I was close to the 2nd floor though (say to get from 3rd floor to 6th floor), I'd go from 3-2, then 2-4, 4-6. That way, I wouldn't have to take any stairs at all.

Perhaps not the laziest around, but pretty lazy, especially considering I was an athlete in HS.

15-16. Once had 2 phone lines, and my roommate and I would call each other if we were on different floors, rather than walk up/down the stairs to talk.
