AKs is my biggest net loser. Ironically, AKo is my biggest net gainer.

NLHE MTT's are my biggest losers.

Oh, you meant which hands...

A-rag offsuit without question are my biggest losers. Out of my twenty losingest hands playing LHE, eight of them are A2o through A9o (all on the list). Amazingly, ATo is a slight winner, but I honestly don't play it much (500k hand sample).

[/ QUOTE ]

I actually went through my PT database and checked (been about six months since the last time, and I've since stopped playing A-rag offsuit in limit games altogether).

I've found that in my bottom 20, every single hand is a suited 3+ gap except for the unexplainable 56s nestled in second place and the little-more-understandable 79s in ninth place. The only other "playable" hand in the bottom 20 is A5s at number 18.

However, what I find most interesting is that 78% of the occurances from my twenty worst starting hands happen in the blinds.

(note, all information is based BB/hand)

Consider this a beat too....

8,7 offsuit '06 Main Event

Level 2 50/100
Hero in the BB - $33,000 stack
Villan is UTG - $20,000 stack

Only read on the villan is he is a little loose, not overly insane.

Villan limps, 4 other limpers, sb completes and Hero checks, $300 in the pot.

6 handed to a A,8,7 rainbow flop.

SB checks, Hero bets $300, villan calls, rest fold, $900 in pot.

Turn 7. Hero bets $800, villan calls, $2500 in pot.

River J. Hero bets $1500, villan raises to $4000, hero says "this is the greatest only a call ever."

Villan tables J,7.

Recap. He limps UTG with J,7 offsuit, flops pottom pair, meduim kicker with an ace on board and calls a pot size bet way out of position.

That is all.

awfull call, you have to go broke here.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you go broke here, you're justifying this guy's bad call. If the blinds are 50/100 and it's six handed there should be $600 in the pot. I don't like calling here with bottom pair, marginal kicker, but if the villain knew what you had (I know, he doesn't) and that everyone else would fold (again, he doesn't know this), then his call is trivially easy. If you go broke on the river, villain is getting about 24 to 1 on a 14 to 1 shot. The read of "a little loose, not overly insane" suggests that he might call with a wide range of hands, but is less likely to raise on the end with a weaker hand than you'd expect. Sevens full of Eights here can't beat a single full house. It's essentially the same as having a straight on a paired board. With an M of 220, you want to lose most of your chips in this spot? I don't. I say nice hand. Bad beat. If you go broke here, it's not a bad beat. It's a cooler, but you've forced the other guy to play the hand right by going broke.

Im avoiding datamining because unless you have about a million hand sample, or more possibly ,its going to be inaccurate reflection most likely.Just going by feel and i think they were both mentioned,AJo and KQo both give me fits and inevitably lead me to trouble in early positions.

good topic!!

biggest loser is TT.... i think i overplay them pre- and post- flop... some trouble with JJ too.... no trouble with 99, but i think i respect that they aren't that strong.

some trouble too with the A7-AJ.... i would only play those weaker aces out of blinds or late in unraised pot... but again, i think i overplay the ace when it hits.

Glad I'm not the only one!

No other pairs in the top 10; the rest is entirely suited gappers.
