I would have to say it is infinite, period.... [/ QUOTE ] What data do you have to suggest it is infinite, much less put a "PERIOD" as if case closed? I don't think we're capable of addressing "outside the universe" in any meaningful way. It's nonsensical when viewed through conventional space-time paradigm. For example, what is "outside" our current 3-D space? How would you define that? It's impossible to fathom. And if you lived in a 2-D planar world and somebody told you a whole 3rd dimension of space was out there, you'd have absolutely no way of comprehending what it meant to be "outside" your 2-D world. I recommend you read a very short, very cheap ($2) classic book called Flatland which gives a charming description of this scenario.

[/ QUOTE ] Point would have changed so much during your travel, it wouldn't be the same Point A anymore. But anyway, I've always been skeptical of traveling at 'warp' speed because you'd inevitably crash into some asteroid or star. [/ QUOTE ] Even space dust might tear your ship apart at those speeds.
