Adrenaline.
Made a final table in a big MTT - 567 people. Was just wondering if any one else has adrenaline pumping through them that once your done it feels like you could just crash hard. By the way came in 6th and got it in with the best hand, thats all I could ask for. I need to relax a little more I think.

Re: Adrenaline.
Nothing wrong the the adrenaline pumping, hell thats what we all enjoy.
Just keep doing what you're doing, and remember although you feel invincible, you're not. Play the same smart way that got you there. Unless your against me, in which case tilt. |

Re: Adrenaline.
I know when I won my first big mtt, I was pumped and could not sleep. All I could do was lay there and think about how stoked I was, (btw it was an Omaha Hi/Lo tourney and was only the 3rd time I had played it!)
Anyway congrats, and good job! |

Re: Adrenaline.
the adrenaline rush is why people gamble. poker is no different, you just have to try and keep it from affecting you too much.

Re: Adrenaline.
Nice job, wish i could finally win a MTT. Thought I had a chance last night when i was 3rd in chips with 60 left in a 28k guarantee on fulltilt but took a couple brutal beats and finished 53rd

Re: Adrenaline.
Like the hokey-pokey, that's what's it all about.
I love the rush of deep MTT play even more than the satisfaction of knowing I've played great poker. |
