Default Most obscure, least known baseball rule

Realizing that I didn't know the "ground rule triple" rule - as discussed in the other thread - made me wonder what baseball rule might be the least well known.

I nominate that one. Any other candidates?

The amount of people who have no idea what the infield fly rule is surprises me.

Sweet link. Got 5/5 on my random quiz, but I think I just ran hot. Played in college but I was very unsure on at least two of those rules, and am positive at least one of those was called differently in a game I played in.

The tie does NOT go to the runner.

No such thing as a tie.

Damn, I got 4/5 on my random quiz.
I'm really not that good with some of the rules though.

I think some of the balk stuff definitely qualifies as some of the least known. Especially hidden-ball trick type stuff.

But ground-rule triple stuff definitely is way up there. I imagine MANY baseball fans know nothing of that rule. I'm trying to think of something that would be even less known but am not immediately coming up with anything.

Pine tar cannot extend more than 18 inces from the bottom of a bat. Just ask George Brett.
