no doubt the ZO6 is an amazing feat of technology.

that being said, if i am spending $70k on a car, there is no chance it will be a chevy. i dont care what type of #'s it puts up.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is no engineering feat. A big block engine produces lots of hp/torque; big deal.

I haven't read most of the thread, but I'd just like to say that anyone who says that a boxster sucks and prefers most of these recommendations doesn't know the first thing about the joys of driving or has never driven a boxster hard

[/ QUOTE ]

I have driven a Boxster many times(as a valet, but that doesnt count and because my mom had one) and although they are nice cars because they are made by Porsche they still suck and are generally regarded as chick cars by anyone that knows anything about cars.

Im not sure what the recommendations are, but I would say that M3>Boxster anyday.

i got a clk55 amg about 6 months ago and couldnt be happier. i decided on this car over the m3, used 911, and 6 series. the clk55 just felt faster and smoother than the m3, and more comfortable than the 911. take this for whatever its worth

More comfortable how? Leg-room, seat, smoothness of ride, etc? The 911 has lots options of type of seat, sunroof delete (helps taller people), and type of suspension. Nothing against a CLK55... just saying there are options if you like the Carrera.
