Nope. The last GRAYCAT hand was

14 896764146 2007-09-12 23:20:27 4090 4090 0 TABLE_USER Dealt to GRAYCAT [2h 6s]

The whole file cuts off because of the excel line limit, so it only has from 9 PM (tourney start) until around 11:20 PM. It's too bad because he only has 4K chips and looks like he's about to bust.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm confused: you say that you only have tourney data up to 11:20pm, but in the P5s thread with ALL of the HHs, it shows ALL of Potripper's hhs, right through 1:50am when he won the tourney with that ridic T high call.

[/ QUOTE ]
I don't think we have HHs with all of the holecards past around 11:20 PM. The stuff you're seeing is the regular HH that Marco had and it has POTRIPPER b/c they happened to be at the FT together.

This is the last line (#65536) in the Excel file:

9 896763832 2007-09-12 23:20:55 0 0 0 TABLE_INFO Seat 9: TCBLADE Folded on the POCKET CARDS

[/ QUOTE ]

Are you sure that that is all of the data that is in the file or just all of the data that shows up in Excel?

Excel can only display 65536 lines of data, but the file might be larger than that..

If you can find a piece of software to convert from XLS to CVS, you can just open up the file in notepad and see everything.

[/ QUOTE ]
I don't think the XLS stores anything in the file past the limited line number. I am not using Excel 2007, but I think it matters more what it is sent as... I can get a copy of 07 if needed and then save it as a CSV. I'm just putting it into a local mysql anyway.

I've written a letter to the Kahnawakee gaming comission as I suggest everyone else do the same.

They denied pro poker had bots, there's no way they do anything to risk their income from absolute. No harm in writing but anyone who remembers the pro poker thing will realise there's almost certainly nothing going to come of it.
So by all means have a go, but don't get your hopes up.

How large is the file just out of curiosity?

I just tested a 11 x 65536 XLS file, and it's 10 MB.

lol. That is a stupid test. DUCY?

Hint: Putting a movie in every cell or just a dot makes kind of a difference.

Huh? I just put a few characters of text in each cell, just like the file he's working with.

I was working under the assumption that AP didn't send him a XLS file with movies in every cell.

thats just an example, in reality there will be various sizes of data in each cell (for example a dot is a smaller peice of data than a hand history file - although not to the extent of the difference between a movie and said dot).

It's called an approximation, dude - and I was approximately correct.

Do you see that if his file were 5 times larger than the one I tested, that it would probably mean there were a lot more than 65536 rows in his?

Guys, it doesn't matter. The file is just under 10 mb and it doesn't contain more rows AFAICT.

Also, snagglepuss is an investigative superstar.

First, he found some shady costa rican IP activity in the file.

Second, he thinks he's found the name of the person who created the excel file.

Third, I think the two of us have concluded the that the IP logs are related to the opening and closing of a table and it is not necessarily related to those who are playing at the table.
