Default Straight flush, what to do?

8-handed 2/5 live game ($200 buy-in).

I've got $750 behind me, opponent has around $1100.

UTG calls, I limp in (UTG+2) with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img];
button and bb call.

Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]10[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Checked to me, I bet $20. BTN calls, BB raises to $60, I call while all others fold.

Turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

BB bets $120. I hesitate for a while, ask for time. Actually, my mind is spinning from the fact that I hit my first straight flush. Eventually I call.

River: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

BB bets $350. The warning signals start to go off in my head. Laying down my first straight flush would be tough, but can I put him on anything other than the Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]? Next he flashes a hole card, the 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], and grins. He's acting like he obviously wants a call. But is he just acting?

BB seems to be fine with playing a big pot on the flop, why aren't you obliging?

Call, and vigorously berate villan for NOT stacking you in a Straightflush over Straightflush situation.

call and think about what went wrong in the hand. actually you are losing here very rarely. sounds like you folded the hand.

number one, 3-bet on the flop. if your villain wants to play a bit pot, oblige.

on the rievr, forget about the str8 flush, you actually have the 2nd nut flush. villain is betting in to you on the rievr. calm down and think about what hands raise you on that flop. he shows you the 2 of clubs. are you telling me your villain raised ou on flop with Qs-2? Also think about what your hand looks like to villain. screams K of spades!
ok so figure it out. CALL.

If you lose you lose. i dont know how, but you do. but your mistake was flatcalling on the flop for sure.

Thanks for the advice everyone. So I ended up calling and he flipped over the Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Duh, I like your advice of calling him out for not putting me all in. Some other players at the table did that for me .

now I know the results but once he shows you the 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I think you can fold river, if you didnt had the A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in your hand it's an obv call or raise though.

Everytime you got a flush on monotone flop, if someone RR's you'll always put it all in? lol

It's the turn where Hero should've RR'ed, and definitely not be dazed by the straight flush and take forever to just call. RR, throw it away if he 3-bets. As played, you just have to call the river. Congratulate him on the higher straight flush and be happy to know that you didn't get stacked.

since you also have the As I think this is a fairly easy fold.
