Default Saturday Night NLHE Tourney - Side Bets Ideas?

A friend of mine is hosting a tourney tomorrow night and is looking for unique/fun ways to do side payouts...he was thinking about bounty payouts...how have you guys done this in the past?

Obviously, we considered paying best hand, best bad beat, AA beats...but what about bounties? Suggestions? What have you seen?

Any and all ideas/suggestions appreciated..thanks!

easy. when you are collecting entry fees, get an extra $X from each player and give them a unique chip (different from the tourney chips, that is - all bounty chips are the same as one another). when somebody busts out of the tournament, they have to give their bounty chip to whoever busted them out (just one - if they have busted other people out, they still get to keep those). at the end, or when they're leaving, everyone cashes whatever bounty chips they collected in with you for $X per chip.

Ray: I like the idea.

In our home games; we always do the $5/person for the high hand pot. Has to go to the river.

Bounties are great.

Another fun one is a "last longer" bet between a group of players. Obviously not everyone would participate because the winner would just get the pool. I have a group of four of us that love to do last longer bets between ourselves.

we do a 2/7 sidepot. everyone who wants puts in x amount, and the first person to win w/ a 2/7 gets the pot. its fun and also encourages bluffing and loose play. we play with roughly the same guys so if no one wins we carry it over to the next week to build up the 2/7 stash.

I like making super large pf bets w/ AA, KK, and getting called by someone who thinks you're making a move w/ 2/7.
