I traded Redd/Okur/Ford for Camby/Monta Ellis/Devin Harris

I had way to many swingmen and was struggling. I still have a lot of 3's, pretty much giving up on assists, and I think Ellis/Harris aren't bad fits with Gilbert. I think my team is more balanced, took a shot on Camby staying healthy.

Trade sounds fine, but why even go for Devin Harris if you're gonna tank in assists? Would've rather taken another value player that would help you in cats you need. Can prob still trade Harris at some point.

[/ QUOTE ]

Harris has never been much of an assist guy, and hasn't been this year either. He rebounds decently for a point, plus his %'s are strong and he gets points/steals.

Standard 8-category H2H, weekly lineups. Who would you rather have going forward, Ray Allen or Chris Bosh? Is it team-dependent?

Bosh vs. Allen - I say even, but it depends on needs. Do you need blocks and boards, or threes? Allen is better in assists and steals as well.

16 team (deep) 9 cat, H2H

Rudy Gay
Marvin Williams

for my

LaMarcus Aldridge
Carlos Delfino

I think this is pretty close. Rudy gay is playing very well now, i don't think i would be getting rudy for cheap. Marvin...well he has potential.

I think the deal is worse for me because lamarcus is already a 20/10, and he can defnitetly be better than that (FG FT PT RB BL)

is it a lock that varejao won't play at all this season? I got him with my last pick and thought he might be a decent pickup if he starts playing in a few weeks. It's not like there's a lot of quality left at that point.

[/ QUOTE ]

I drafted Brand in the 13th round of my draft, but Varejao? No reason to do that, gotta go for the good wire pickups now!

Another trade in the league of 2 good SF/SG for a great PG/C and another decent player.

In a very deep league, have to reject this deal. You just won't find anyone close to Aldridge on the wire, but there will be many that resemble the Marvin/Rudy type.

The team which currently has Bosh but is considering Allen is (currently with Bosh) strong in 3PM and FT% but weak in rebounds and FG%. So in some sense Bosh makes the team less "extreme" and Allen makes it more "extreme." I'm not sure if correct strategy is to build more on strength or try to continue mitigating weakness. FG% seems hard to improve via waiver wire, but so does 3PM, and some of the 3PM is Peja who was hurt last year. Of course, Bosh is always a little bit of a question mark healthwise too.

In the words of Homer J. Simpson, "So to answer your question, I don't know."

Alright peoples, now I need some trade advice.

In a H2H 9-cat league in need of 3PTM and Assists, but 3PTM alot more.
I offered two deals, so lemme know what ya think:

Deal #1 :
I give: Vince Carter
I get: Chauncey Billups

Deal #2:
I give: Ronnie Brewer
I get: Mike Miller

Also, given that I'm looking to give up Carter/Brewer, what trades do you go after for one-to-one deals

If either of these deals gets accepted, I demand an immediate invite to your league.

Deal #1 is close, I don't see a huge problem with it.

Is #2 that unfair? It seemed it initially, but take a closer look at the numbers - Brewer has better percentages, steals and TO ratio than Miller.

It's also a buy-low/sell-high deal, as the respective players numbers aren't likely to stay where they are.
