Default 6.50 - 88 in EP with 12bb

88 feels too strong to be folding, but I don't think limping can be profitable with my stack size and bb100. Whats your play?

I lean towards a shove here too.

Just calling here is not good, because with your Stack Size you can't play for set value.

I don't like shoving here but with a little less [t1000) I'd push.

Remember: The caller makes this push a little more profitable.

88 is my boarder line hand in this spot. I think i fold 77 here (is that too tight?), and auto shove 99.

Also the fact that the players remaining all have similar stacks makes this a bit of a fold for me because i don't feel pressure from a big stack too my right. If i a couple of guys too my right with 2500+ stacks i would be more inclined to shove. Does anyone think this is sound reasoning, or am i over thinking aspect.

For me it would depend on my read at the moment, because i can see myself going either way with this one...prolly 60% shove 40% fold.

I am not too happy about shoving here to pick up the 250, but if you are pretty confident you will not get looked up by anyone - then I guess a push is ok. Borderline case both stackwise and handwise, actually.
