50nl KK deepish 3 bet pot
Villain is 14/13/5 so pretty nitty and highly aggressive.

Re: 50nl KK deepish 3 bet pot
I think I'm checking this turn. Looks like he has a PP from 99 to QQ. By his stats its likely that he raises the flop with something like AKc or 88/66. Think its unlikely that youre getting any value from a pocket pair below QQ if you bet the turn, and you're in a tough spot if you get raised.
Sucks being oop. I think chk/call turn if he bets then check/fold river. If he checks behind I value bet any non club river. |

not sure if I like bet fold or check call. Maybe bet $20 and strongly consider folding to a push

Re: 50nl KK deepish 3 bet pot
Betting the turn sucks, you're not getting value from anything that you're beating, 99/1010 etc surely fold. Unlikely that he calls on the flop if he has just the Ac.
So were not betting for value, or to protect our hand really, just for information, which sucks. If he bets $20 call. You've 3-bet in the SB, lots of people immediately think 'AK', so he could be betting with say JJ for protection/value from something like AK with the ace of clubs. If he pushes the river then you're probably beat. From his viewpoint youre probably calling the river if you call the turn. If you were just drawing with the Ac then he's ahead, wont get any value and will just check behind with 99/1010/JJ. |

Re: 50nl KK deepish 3 bet pot
can't see too many players who know what they are doing(seems like he probably does from those stats) calling away 10% of there stack with a pocket pair. Only thing that I really think stacks you here is AKc, QQ, AA. I bet here for value.

Re: 50nl KK deepish 3 bet pot
I think most people with these stats at 50NL will call a 3-bet from an aggressive player in pos with 99-JJ.
He'd probably 4 bet AA pre and he's definitely raising the flop. He's also probably raising the flop with AKc (5 AF?) He could possibly have QQ. |

Re: 50nl KK deepish 3 bet pot
crai on turn - you got him to put more money in the pot w/ the turn bet, and that's basically all the money you're going to get from him... now don't let him draw free to a 4th club.

Re: 50nl KK deepish 3 bet pot
To be honest I did something I've never done before, which was c/f. His super nitty stats just didn't lead me to believe he would be betting the turn with anything I would be ahead of.
My big concern wasn't calling the $20 on the turn, its that I knew he'd shove the river nearly every time. Calling the $20 to just c/f the river for $30 into $110 is a huge mistake so I'm never folding except for a club or ace. Since I thought I'd have to be calling off $50 nearly 80% of the time so I just folded. For the more results oriented crowd I asked him as I was leaving the table and he claimed he had a flush. |
