Default nl100 rivered bottom set, gotta fold here, right?

no real reads on villain, 21/5/1.5 after 20 hands

<font color="red">Hero bets $23</font>, <font color="red">BTN raises to $76 and is All-In</font>, Hero ?

i know flop is bad, my cbet was too small. i probably should have check/folded the turn, but i took a shot anyway in the hope he might fold a marginal hand.
I can't think what i beat that he's raising with on the river, apart from a busted draw. would AJ wait until the river to raise? i think a set or backdoor flush are his likely holdings here. Is this a fold? would a check/call on the river been a better move?

thanks in advance for comments

this is a pretty funny hand. I doubt he would wait to raise with a set but I doubt he'd wait to raise with 2pair either.

most importantly, a check would be bad. b/f is better than c/c IMO, but I can't see folding here.

1) I'd check his street by street behavior and be more inclined to call players who are overly agro on the river (there are quite a few bombs around that I nearly always lookup if my hand has any sort of showdown value). Quite a few of them have AF's of 1-1.5, also.

2) I think you can rule out sets and 2pairs, so you're basically deciding between a total bluff and a rivered flush. Absent a read, I'd probably call here just because a backdoor flush is suspicious and you're getting strong odds.

I do it, so yes. But not if you like to play for stacks drawing dead like OP here.

You can't do anything, but snap call and then vomit when he turns over the runner runner flush.
