Default Late game AA adventure in Stars 10 10 minute semi turbo

getting late in Stars 10 10 minute...I have a well above average stack and have been playing an aggressive roller coaster of a tourney...played a lot of coinflips and won some and lost some so image is pretty volatile...how messy is this line? in the turbo format I want to try to maximize value for my AA here so I played it a lot different than my standard line...thoughts?

This looks good to me. UTG+1 = terrible. NH.

Looks okay, doesn't really matter in a $10 tourney that the only hand you'd smooth call PF is AA.
Not a fan of "in the turbo format I want to try to maximize value for my AA here so I played it a lot different than my standard line" thinking though.

poker...unfortunately it's the nature of the beast...by smoothcalling I can induce a squeeze by someone feeling desperate...also in a true slow tourney I would be more concernedd with my reverse implied but here I figure if they crack the rockets at this stage I can live with it but I can't live with losing chips i could have gained from a lot of worse hands...

side note if he raised less I would have pushed...4X did two things...told me he had a decent hand and should discourage bad hands from hopping on the pot odds bandwagon

I like how this is played preflop given the Tourney structure. But after UTG+1 leads for t1200 leaving ~t5100 behind on the flop, just shove, rather than raising to t3600, especially since this is a hell of an underbet given the pot size on the flop.

Looks good.
If there was ever a time to tool around with a small raise as opposed to a push, this would most certainly be the board. If he has Q9 here, lol, too bad.

imo if its a turbo and someone opens to 4bb a shove is fine pre from EP because theyre likely not folding often

This is true. In my experience, someone who suddenly raises 4xBB doesn't plan on folding.

I'd probably shove here...if he was ready to get away from a shove wouldn't he make a standard 3x type of raise instead of making it 4x (27% of his stack?)?

If everyone was playing deeper I'd flatcall hoping to induce more action behind us. In this situation no one would overcall behind us, and are they going to shove anything less than a big pair when they have no fold equity? Anyone behind us would only get involved with a big hand so they still might come along if we shove anyways. Flatcalling a pfr who already put in nearly 1/3 of his chips looks superstrong to me (unless your image is as a bad player), and I think a shove disguises your hand better.

I believe in this specific situation a push grants you the most value. In my limited but adequate experience 4x raise from utg/utg1 = never folding to a push. especially when the raise represents almost 30% of their remaining stack
