isnt this by Jesse Livermore? and if i remember his story correctly, he was the biggest degen of all. running up millions trading and going broke numerous times. and we all know a million dollars in 1920 is like a trillion now

I've read the Reminiscences, definitely a great book, and was looking at the Alchemy of Finance (by Soros, right?) today but decided to stick with just the "Trading in the Zone" by Douglas for right now. At $50, I really hope I made the right choice (didn't realize it was that expensive until I was at the counter, but it probably wouldn't have stopped me anyways).
