Default turn aggression

UTG: $50

SB: $48.65
BB: $57.55

Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO)
UTG folds, MP calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2.25, 3 folds, MP raises to $4.50, Hero calls $2.25

his limp minraise confused me.

What do you guys think of a raise here. Does he have something enough times to make this a bad raise. What do you guys think the best thing to do here is?

Default Re: turn aggression

in the absence of reads, without even a pair fold this all day.
Villan could easily have A high himself but he has the advantage of being the aggressor.

Default Re: turn aggression

I wouldn't have done anything differently unless i had seen some deceptive raises in previous hands? If he is a straight forward player, his pre-flop action had pocket pair written all over it. If he had a small or medium pocket pair he bets right out on the ragged flop trying to win the pot right there. But if he has pocket AA,KK, or flopped a set he can play pretty slow given the ragged flop.

If he has shown some odd pre-flop raising in previous hands, I may consider betting the flop.
