what probably is the case is that you were running hot before, now you're running bad, and your real winrate is somewhere between 0 and 1. to be honest i sincerely doubt i could win a bet per 100 hands playing 8+ tables on average. i think my winrate on stars 5/10+ would be around 1 if i kept to 3-4 tables on average.

Too high, I imagine, cutting back to 6, as I noticed myself not thinking at all about what I was doing today...

and nice 65 bet rebound with fewer tables. Based on that sample size, I'd say I'm cured!

I now hold myself to a strict limit of 4 tables. Looking at my vpps for the year, I decided to make a strong push for 400k and I 'droppped down' to 10/20 to 6 table. I promptly dropped 500BBs and did not feel good at all about my performance. However, during those hands it seemed like I was keeping up with the action...

if anyone knows how to filter a database according to multi-table ratio, I'd be very very interested to see how my winrate varies....

you obv have a lot more practice playing many tables, but I seriously think the multitabling is holding you back to some degree.

Apparently, the best way out of a downswing is to bitch about it on 2p2. Well, that and cut the number of tables...
