Niagra Falls Casinos/ Best Place to stay ?

Did a search very little turned up. Anyone have much knowledge on the Niagra Falls poker rooms? Any recommendations on where to stay ect? Wife is going so want to make her happy as well. Is it even worth going to in the winter? Looking to take a trip in 2-3 weeks.

It might help if you searched for Niagara and not Niagra. This topic has been done 1000 times.

The best place to stay is in the hotel inside fallsview casino, but it certainly won't be the cheapest by any means.

a few people told me to stay at the skyline inn (i think it has its own website that you can make a reservation, nice and cheap)... the site suggested it's connected and/or very close to old niagara falls casino... i have no connection and no idea if it's good or not. just some regular told me to stay there and it is cheap on the website.

failing that. there are tons and tons of places on lundy's lane in niagara falls, canada.

sorry, i assumed all of this is for canada.

the hotel at fallsview is obscenely expensive ($600) and sold out all the time. go figure???

sorry, didn't see that the wife was coming and excited...

there are probably 6-7 high end hotels in niagara falls, many of which look over the falls..... sorry, i don't know their names myself.

sorry, i probably wasn't clear enough to the OP that skyline is close to the OLD casino (still open, but the "action" has moved to fallsview)

maybe i don't understand NF geography, but if it's walking distance to touristy stuff, isn't it walking distance to fallsview?

lastly, do you like the skyline??

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it was 5 minute walk from the main strip, whatever the hill is called, and it was 20 or more to Fallsview casino. Considerable difference, especially when its -25 out as it is right now.

Skyline hotel was solid, we only paid something like $89 a night for 2 beds on a Monday night and the rooms were nice.

Okok, the best deal is the Fallsview Hilton. You can sometimes get a room for $99, and usually no more than $129. It has a indoor walkway directly to Niagara Fallsview Casino. You can book on Hilton's website. Trust me, you can't go wrong here.

I am assuming the Canadian side.

The old casino (Casino Niagara) spreads lower limit games. You can make a killing on Fri & Sat nights playing 1/2 $100 buy-in as I have never seen worse players in my life.

FallsView Casino has the higher limit games and some lower limits too. Last time I was ther some of the max biy-ins were really low (like 40bbs for 2/5) but that was a while ago.

The floor at Fallsview **blows** and the wait is usually out of this world. Wait is hours at CN too after 9:00.
