Didn't read thread past first 5 posts, but my Mom is 10.5 years older than my Dad (57, 46.5).

They seem to be ok... they got married when my dad was like 23 or 24... not sure what my Dad was thinking but they're not getting divorced any time soon heh.

It sounds like a lot of you guys with objections are hung up on [censored] that doesn't even come into play until much later

Try enjoying your lives instead of making sure they meet a set of arbitrary criteria

I met my wife when I was 23 and she was 33, after 3 years we are still together. Although I thought it was hotter dating 23/33 then 26/36, it seems to be working out.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is terrifying.

A woman 10+ years old than me is going to be in her 50's, so the answer is no.
10 years younger is a much better idea.

This is what I'm feeling, I can't even imagine dating someone as old as me when I'm 35.

Time cannot be wasted if you're living each moment like it's your last.

If you weren't living each moment like it were your last, wouldn't you be, like, wasting time then?

No.

Everyone saying yes is being ridiculous in some way.

[/ QUOTE ]

dating leads to marrying. so if a chick was hot, then yeah id date her, but marrying a chick tens years older sounds like a very bad idea. white chicks don't age well.
