Default Futures Commisions

I trade 10 contracts of the mini dow. I use the Mann Financial from within Etrade. To go round trip with those after all the fees and so forth it's costing me about $80. Is this pretty standard or am I getting ripped off? It's just that occasionly I make a couple trips and I'm paying $200 in commission.

Ripped off, but standard for your average joe setup at Etrade.

At the very least switch to Interactive Brokers. About half what you are paying now roundturn and no minimum required.

If you start doing huge vol then just join the exchange and you'll probably be around 40 cents/RT.

Go with Interactive Brokers instead.
