Default Cash out rule 5K and over in AC.

Are all the AC casino making a customer sign a form when cashing out over 5k??
The Borgata asked me for ID and tried to get me to sign some form when I tried to cash out for $5400.00 Thursday.
Is this IRS related or some new stupid Borgata rule?

Yes this is standard accross the country. Do a google on CTR or Title 31 and you'll get all the info you need.

Heck in Reno it is 1,000 cash out at the Pepper mill and I found out at Spirit Mountain in Oregon a $1,000 buy in gets your name on a report for the casino.
Just be happy you had a cash out that needed to be reported to the casino.
