We are back online.

If you email us, you'll get a response along these lines:

Earlier today the ISP that hosts our servers experienced difficulties that were beyond our control. This resulted in connection problems for all of our players, despite the fact that our servers were fully operational during this time. Tournaments and cash games continued to run, but players were unable to connect to the site.

Since all players were disconnected, but play in tournaments continued (clock was running and levels increasing), we have decided to cancel all tournaments that were in progress during this time. These tournaments will be "rolled forward" in accordance with our Tournament Cancellation Policy which can be found here:

Any players who were in a tournament will receive an automated email with full breakdown of the refund issued.

If you were involved in a cash game then your chips may still be allocated at the table(s) you were playing at. You can locate the tables by using the Requests -> Find a Player feature, and searching for your own UserID.

Everything appears to be back to normal at this time, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this outage.

I have been playing at full tilt exclusively the last 6 months. I'm thinking about going over to Stars. I generate more then $6000 in rake each month. Can get some kind of "rakeback" or bonus trough the VIP program at Stars when I generate these amounts of rake?

go to ongame, you can have about 80% rake back or even more. u can PM me if you want more info.

As a supernova player you get effectively about 28% RB, iirc.

Our rake is lower than Full Tilt's, particularly if you play shorthanded (you can compare by visiting our website, www.pokerstars.com/poker/room/rake/ ). On top of that, you get our VIP scheme, which as mentioned, is equivalent to about 28% rakeback.
