Default Absolute Poker Liquidity Problems?

Does anyone know if Absolute Poker is having trouble making cashouts? I've been attempting since Febrauary 25th to cash out of Absolute Poker. Thusfar, 5+ emails specifically requesting my cashout have been ignored. My last email, in which I again specifically requested a payout by check, was returned with the following:

"We are terribly sorry you did not receive a prompt response in the past. In regards to your withdrawal, we highly recommend you to request it via ePassporte since your funds will be deposit into your ePassporte account once your withdrawal request has been processed. If you want to get more information about how ePassporte works, please visit:: //absolutepoker.com/realMoneyBanking.asp."

I'm not interested in using epassporte for 250 days to get my money out (its a rather large cashout request). Is this a sign that Absolute Poker is no longer financially stable? Is something more amiss? I'm looking for information, if anyone can help out, please do.

My next step, if my request is again ignored or denied is to take this to sites like Casinomeister and get some publicity threats in place.

Any information appreciated... I'm getting really pissed since I've been a customer for 2+ years and never had anything remotely like this happen before.

I think they may have some liquidity problems, yes. I don't think they are in danger of going under and stealing money but with the the UB buyout, maybe things are tight right now.

They do put you through the runaround for cashouts over 3k though and I know they've switched check processors so maybe they are just tied up.

I spoke to Mark Seif, he got my problem rectified in under 12 hours. I recieved an apology from a higher up at AP, and some special treatment.

Thanks Mark, and thanks AP
