Here's my draft. 14 teams, 1pt/reception and completion. 1QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 WR/RB, 1 TE, 1 DEF

1. (13) Reggie Bush RB
2. (16) Maurice Jones-Drew RB
3. (41) Larry Fitzgerald WR
4. (44) Tony Romo QB
5. (69) Joey Galloway WR
6. (72) Tatum Bell RB
7. (97) Terry Glenn WR
8. (100) Brett Favre QB
9. (125) Amani Toomer WR
10. (128) Heath Miller TE
11. (153) James Jones WR
12. (156) Eddie Kennison WR
13. (181) Green Bay DEF
14. (184) Matt Stover K

I think Romo was a mistake in round 4, but 7 QBs were already taken and I didn't want to get stuck with Trent Green.

edit- Still was a bad move given I got Favre in rnd 8.

[/ QUOTE ]A point per completion? Dear god, what QB was available at 16? I'd consider Brees or Brady I guess. Favre is probably a lot better than Romo here though, significantly better than his draft position given how much GB passes. Manning is prob a top 2 or 3 pick.

Only Manning was taken by then.

I think taking a QB early is a mistake. 1pt/completion evens out the QBs a little. The guys who went with Qbs in rounds 1-3 got stuck with at least 1 really weak RB or WR as a starter.

Wow the Big Ben pick is horrible.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yah, I know. Like I said, there was a run on QBs early. I really wasn't concerned at the time, but after a couple more went I figured I catch him on the way up the ladder with a few guys after me needing a 1st QB and a good upside for him on one of my analysis sites.

Regardless, in hindsight the pick just doesn't look good in the grand scheme of things. Hopefully I didn't leave much on the table.

Edit: Spellman, please break down my draft.

[/ QUOTE ]It does not even them out but boosts value of Favre by a lot so you did fine. Makes the elite qb's a lot, ALOT better than middle tier. Kitna becomes more valuable since Lions pass 75% of the time. Bulger is excellent too. If you wind up with like the 10th best QB you are screwed. What are points per pass td, pass yrd?

I start 2 WRs, 3 rbs, 1/2 pt per catch

I keep 3 guys after this year and lose draft picks where I got them.

6th pick

1- Westbrook (passed on LJ, might have been bad)
2. Edge
3. Gates
4. J Walker
5. J Lewis
6. J Norwood
7. D Branch
8. P Rivers (thought this was good value)
9. D Foster (this too)
10. M Turner
11. C Buckhalter
12 Eli (great value, not sure what I'm going to do with him tho.)
13 Greg Jennings (again good value)
14 Dallas
15 Shane Graham

6pts for every TD regardless of position.

1pt/50 yards for passing

1pt/20 yards for receiving and rushing.

1pt/50 return yards.

you got great value on your first 2 picks. westbrook in the second?

After that it doesn't look all that good. I'd have opted or a stud WR over Bulger, think you took Moss too high.

good valeu on ahman green and deshaun.

27o:

1: Gore
2: Edge
I don't mind edge here. I actually prefer him over the Ronnie Browns and even MJD. Where was Benson at? I would have taken him over Edge
3: R. Wayne
Good pick
4: R. Moss
I think this is a reach. I don't like Moss unless I'm getting him late as a third guy with upside. Since you got Colston next I'm guessing someone like Driver or maybe even Javon Walker with left? I actually think this pick was a pretty big mistake
5: M. Colson - to cover moss
Colston is a great pick here
6: Ben Roth
I think this is a reach for him. Don't let others rushing on QBs force you to make a mistake. I like his upside, but he's an 8th rounder at best
7: J. Norwood - I like this
solid pick
8: S. Moss
Great pick if this is Santana. I think he'll outperform Randy
9: M. Turner - not bad
Ok pick but I'd prefer getting a backup that is playable here. Turner is basically worthless unless LT goes down and you only have Norwood for depth
10: V. Davis
Good pick. I really like him as a top TE this year, but I'm a 49ers homer. I expect him to outperform Shockey, Winslow, and Crumpler by a fair margin
11: B. Favre
Good value here
12: GB D
I like GB, but could have possibly gotten them later, though I don't know, they went undrafted in alot of my leagues
13: N. Folk - sleeper
I'm not even sure who this is
14: M. Nugent
15: Cincy
Wasted pick IMO. Patrick Crayton, James Jones, and Jacoby Jones are all better picks imo

Where was Lamont Jordan taken? Given your RB depth I would have targeted him at some point, probably where you picked Turner
