Default best way to play this?

live 9 handed. I have TAG image

Two ep and one lp limp, sb folds and I check with JsTs in BB.

The flop: Ks9c6h

I check(Is betting better here?) and it is checked to the button who bets(He is a fairly tight strong player who will bet quite often when checked to in position. He has much respect for me and can make a laydown.) The other players are loose but decent. Is this a good spot to check-raise? How about calling and if it gets heads up donking a brick turn?

Just curious how you would play this.

A key to good limit hold'em is learning not to spew chips with marginal holdings in small pots.

Don't check-raise here. I think that with the gutshot (4 outs), pair outs that are good sometimes (2 outs?), and the back door flush draw (1.5 outs), we have enough to merit peeling here.

I would plan on donking basically anything we hit on the turn.

A pre-flop raise would not be completely out of line here, by the way.

1 fewer opponent and I bet. Into four I prefer check-and-see, but I don't hate betting. I just don't see us winning this pot straight away often, and I don't want to get caught in a "downward spiral" where I convince myself to continue leading in the hopes of taking down the pot unimproved.
