Which way would you rather be suited?
Given a choice between
2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] which would your rather be holding? The first has those super-low odds straight flush possibilities, the second obviously makes for a better spade flush. I admit I'm a sucker for the first hand, but given the amount I've actually won with straight flushes (very little) I'm probably being stupid... |

Re: Which way would you rather be suited?
The chance that you back into a spade flush against another low spade flush is much much higher than the chance that you hit the straight flush. And honestly the only way the straight flush is even worth hitting is if you hit it against the Ace high flush AND have a better low than that opponent.
