Good spot for 3 barrels? No real reads on BB, but he hasn't gotten out of line or anything.

meh. i usually like to have a read before making this play.

i'm assuming that you're representing AA/KK? what do you put him on? i can't see him having a big Q here, so maybe its JQ, KJ, 9J... all of which will probably fold the river, if he's a decent player, imo.

I check behind turn, and do not 3-barrel without a read.

Yes, I put him on KJ, JQ or some other weak Q. I just couldn't see him check calling three streets, and I thought that I could get him to fold his one pair hands enough that this was a +EV move vs. just giving up and giving him the pot, but I dunno, seems like its pretty agreed that its a spew and I should check behind.

If he has a Q and didn't feel he was beaten on the flop/turn the board hasn't really gotten any scarier for him.
