Feeling uncomfortable with JJ
Played a couple of JJ hands today where I felt unsure of myself. FWIW I am 25/17 and very aggressive preflop/flop. Any comments on my lines appreciated, thanks:
First one is vs mKplusLc, a 2+2er I believe? I have him at 18/10 Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) BB ($1318.23) Hero ($608.10) Button ($404) SB ($423.50) Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $4. SB posts a blind of $2. 1 fold, SB (poster) raises to $12, Hero (poster) raises to $40, SB calls $30. Flop: ($88) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, Hero bets $77, SB calls $379.50 (All-In), Hero folds. Final Pot: $544.50 This next one is vs a relative unknown who hasn't been out of line that I've seen: Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Button ($755.03) SB ($442.40) BB ($342) Hero ($463.50) MP ($565.91) CO ($524.50) Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $2. Hero raises to $12, MP calls $12, 3 folds, BB calls $8. Flop: ($38) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, Hero bets $35, MP folds, BB raises to $104, Hero folds. Final Pot: $177 And just finally, one where I had the best hand and took it down, but am unsure of my bet amounts in general: Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) UTG ($889.03) MP ($436.90) Button ($370) Hero ($396) BB ($610.91) Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $2. 1 fold, MP raises to $8, Button calls $8, Hero (poster) raises to $26, 1 fold, MP calls $20, Button calls $20. Flop: ($88) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets $75, MP folds, Button folds. Final Pot: $163 Thanks. Can't help but feel a bit weak tight in these hands... |

Re: Feeling uncomfortable with JJ
Hand 1 looks good
Hand 2 looks a little weak.. I think I would call and re-evaluate the turn Hand 3 your PF raise is too small, and I don't see the need for such a big flop bet on a dry board. |

Re: Feeling uncomfortable with JJ
1 and 3 are fine, but 2 is driving me crazy. If I'm doing the math correctly if we call villain has a PSB behind, so we're basically committed to getting it all in. I think I'd just fold- large raise, small pot, etc.
